Great location!! Everything about our stay was outstanding. The clerk that checked us in, the one that checked us out, the valet parking, the cleanliness of the entire establishment, and a very comfortable large double queen room. This is a place I will recommend and return to.

Hands down, the best hotel experience we've ever had. Hotel was super clean, staff amazingly friendly, room was spacious, very clean, very comfortable. Breakfast really, really great. Within walking distance if downtown for bars, restaurants, shopping. Highly recommend!!

This a great location in walking distance from everything. The room was clean and standard, very nice. They have to best staff ever! The greatness started before we even got out of our car with Shamar from valet greeting us. Then it continued when we checked in with Mrs. Tammy and her sweet self, I just love her so much! Y’all got the right one at the front desk. The next day when I went down to grab some breakfast for my husband and I, Mrs Betty seen my hands full and offered me a tray. Every staff member smiled and looked like they really enjoy their job. We’re already trying to figure out when we’re coming back. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

After a long day of travel, my check-in experience at the Hampton Inn & Suites Greenville-Downtown-RiverPlace was truly a breath of fresh air. The hospitality I received tonight was nothing short of exceptional. First, the valet team was amazing—warm, efficient, and welcoming from the moment I pulled in. I didn’t get his name, but he set the tone with genuine kindness that immediately made me feel at ease. Then I had the pleasure of checking in with Henry at the reception desk, who was outstanding. He was incredibly friendly, helpful, and informative. Henry walked me through every step of the process with such clarity and warmth that it instantly made me feel taken care of. After a long trip, that level of hospitality means everything. I also appreciated the thoughtful follow-up text message welcoming me as a Silver member and letting me know I could reach out for anything I needed. It’s small touches like this that make a stay memorable and remind you you’re in good hands. Overall, 10/10 service. The team tonight embodied true Southern hospitality, and I’m genuinely grateful. Highly recommend this location!

Recently visited Greenville, What a lovely place, and stayed at the Hampton, Rooms were just what I expected from the Hampton brand, roomie, clean, well attended. The service was great at check in, and the location, is amazing, with t a view of the falls, and walking distance, was an all over great stay, will return again.

One of the nicest stays I've had for the price. Convenient location downtown, next to the river park. Staff was great, room was clean and well appointed. Only complaint was the shower didn't get hot at all, thinking it may have been a faucet issue as the sink water was plenty hot. Otherwise, great property!

Very nice location, close to the park along the creek in downtown Greenville. Parking if valet is expensive. Hotel room is average in quality, but the shower water is super weak which is why I rate 4 stars. Breakfast is also poor in quality and selection, yet whole day coffee is always welcome. Service is good in general, and room is clean and tidy. I will likely choose other hotels near by next time here in Greenville.

We had a very nice experience. Hospitality was on point from valet parking,front desk to kitchen staff for breakfast... everyone was customer focused and paid attention to detail. Can't wait to visit Hampton Inn, Greenville SC
